Just amazing. This article just goes to show us that Republicans and Democrats have a lot in common. Regardless of political flavor, they don't seem to understand Economics 101.
It's the same old, same old. The wide-spread belief that somehow, someway, if we just get government involved, we can all have something for nothing. Shame on us if we believe that. We know better.

your right about intervention of government being wrong to a certain extent. but you said yourself in class that gov. serves a purpose have the "rules of the game" as i think you put it. voluntary exchange is efficient up to the point of the 'gun to head' example you gave us. Gov prevents some of that
